What influences your values about issues relating to your life?
Well in my life the people that are the colest to me are sort of like my idols. Especially people that are older than me. I look up to them respect them and appreciate thier understandings. I feel that they have a better experience of the world than I do and i always try to learn from them.

Do you ever compare images/values presented ny the media to those of the bible? Why?Why not?

How do feel the media potrays social justice issues?
I feel that most of the time the media are formal and appropriate about it and they just give the public the real facts of the story without anything being fabricated, but sometimes it just gets out of hand.

Has it been difficult to find articles on social justice issue?
Well every group has their ups and downs and yes one of our downs were trying to find articles on Youth homelessness in Australia. I think that the difficulty on finding articles depend on what topic the group is actually doing.

Do you think the media operates from a moral framework? Give evidence by using your research.
I think that the media in some situations make the right decisions most of the time about how they present their reports. One example would be the Chanel nine Current Affair report on Balinda Neil. In my opinion i think that the reporters took it a bit too far and direspected her. I admitt that she did do something really ignorent and pathetic but… there are limits.

Describe what is a critique:
A critiqu involves identifying critical things about an article resisting the temptation to describe rarther than analyse. Description is just stating facts – though each person will have a different idea of what facts are the most important ones. Description is alot easier that analysis, which is breaking things up into themes and putting them together.

Outline the four stages in a critique:
1. An introduction which directs the reader’s attention to the publication and you response to it.
2. A summary of the aritcle.
3. Your analysis or critical commentary on the original text.
4. Your evaluation or conclusion.

2. Identify traditional medical techniques that optical fibres might replace.
The optical fibres might replace the traditional medical techniques such as x – ray.

3. Evaluate the benifits to fibre optic technology to medicine.
One of the benifits could be that it is more accurate and this will let the doctors determine what problem the patient has much quicker so they could give their patients the cure.
