The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant
In this parable the quality that jesus is trying to express is that if you forgive other people for the bad that they have done God will forgive you sins.

1. Define the term ‘beatitude’
Any of the declerations of blessedness made by Jesus in the Sermon on the mount.
2. Explain the purpose of the beatitudes.
Well to me the purpose of the beatitudes is a guide for life. If we follow this giuide we can all reach our destiny.
3. Select ONE beatitude and describe how inspiring people of faith put into practice the teachings of Jesus. Use an example to support your answer.
Blessed are the clean of heart: for they shall see God. This to me means that if you tell the truth all the the time and be honest with yourself and others than you will always be able to communicate with God.

1. What do you think the above image is about? Discuss.
I think that the image is trying to tell us that Mother Theresa in history was a very great person and the fact that people belived and worshipped her and on the other hand Andrew Johns is very relevent in our today’s society and how we can not only learn but understan his mistakes espicially becaus of the fact that he confessesd about all his other problems.
2. List FIVE personal qualities of Andrew Johns.
i) he was a very determined athlete.
ii) He was a great inspiration to children.
iii) He was depressed so he consumed drugs.
iv) He was a great sporting icon
3. List FIVE personal qualities of Mother Theresa.
She loved everyone, she set up hospitals to care for the sick, she started schools to help the illiterate, she was a caring person and she looked after people even though she was sick.
4. Discuss what you believe the difference is between inspiring people and inspiring people of faith.
Inspiring people are usually movie stars or sport idols but inspiring people of faith are usually people of the religion like Jesus.

1. Define the word Charism.
A charism is a gift from god. It effects the whole community and it will come for many ages to follow.
2. Marcellin Champagnat outlined FIVE marist charisms that are identified within Marist schools.

3. Provide THREE examples of how you have seen these charisms evident within Parramatta Marist.
i) In the Marist community we are all like one big family.
ii) We also work to the best of our abilities.
iii) We realise that we are all sent down here from god on a mission.
4. List and describe TWO ways you believe we can create a better sense of ‘Marist Family’ within Parramatta Marist.
i) We as a marist community should be able to understand and respond to other peoples ideas and feelings.
ii) We should treat others as we woul like to be treated.

Well for the award that we are going to present for the marist of the year The nominees have to have Marcellin and Jesus like qualities, The should be in the Catholic community. They should have done some charatible work either localy or internationally.

Today in our group meeting we discussed the jobs that each of us are goin to do. We are are goin to be researching Different Celeberaties and stars for the award. Researching the criteria. And we will be brainstorming ideas about the nominees of the award.

In todays group meeting me and my group discussed the critera of the marist of the year award and the selection process. We were discussing on how we could justify on why a particular person could get this award. just to get a bit of and idea we researched the Australian of the year award criteria and for homework we have all decided that every group member willat the next meeting, bring a brainstorm of ideas to add to this criteria.

Today we had a group meeting and we discussed the different topics that our group members are going to undertake and reserch. this was our first group meeting so we were just getting to know for what we had to do.
