Well my image of Jesus hasn’t really changed during this project but my perceptions about him have. Before this this project When I used to hear the name Jesus all I used to think was, Sone of God, died on the cross and the facts about his life. But Know when I think of Jesus I think about the sacrafices he made for lots of people, the morals and lessons he taught to people and how he spread the word of God.

Journal Entry 4

For me the best form of medium that allows me to connect with jesus is art. When i see images of or relating to Jesus i Can actually feel ar try and feel his emotions and feelings.

People throughout history have learnt many different morals and lessons from Jesus and they potray or judge Jesus in their own perspectives and views. Thats how different images of Jesus have formed in peoples mind.

At Parramatta Marist Jesus is potrayed as a inspirational individual. In our catholic studies classes we as students are taught the morals and lessons that Jesus had told his followers in the past.

This is one image of Jesus that really appeals to me because it shows how Jesus Christ sacraficed his own life so that we could live a life of peace.

1. What words and or images come to mind When you hear the word Jesus?
- GOD
- Holy Mother Mary
- Church
- The Cross
- Sacrifice

2. What might be important for young people to identify with an image of Jesus?
That it doesn’t just have to be a picture of Jesus in physical form. It could be to do with anything about Christianity. Young people should also understand that they should not make a mokery of Holy images of Jesus.

3. Where in your life do you most associate with images of Jesus?
I think in my life i mostely relate to images of Jesus when i am prayng.

Individual task 1

   The virgin and child in magesty and the adoration of the Maji

Artist: From the apse of the church of Saint Joan at Tredos, Lleida, Spain.

The art period of Romanesque has been around since approximately 1000AD. This was also during the rise of the Gothic style of art. The artwork that i have chosen is a picture painted on the ceiling of the apse of the church of saint Joan at Tredos, Lleida, Spain.

The message that I think this artwork is potraying is the love for Jesus thgat Mother Mary had. That is why I chose this image and this is what inspired me about this artwork.

How many Rubrics are there in this project?
There are 6 rubrics in this project.

Describe the purpose of the rubric?
Well the purpose of the rubric is to set a benchmark or a standard that students need to get to in order to pass this project. The rubric also helps students to better understand what is is they have to do and their going to be marked upon it.

How can you use the rubric to get the best possible mark?
Well as i stated above students can get the best possible marks by reffering to the rubric because this tells them how the teachers will be marking them throughout the project.

Journal Entry 1

List 2 problems that could occur from students selecting their own groups?

1. The students might choose their friends and might just muck around during this project.
2. Students might choose 1 smart person and decide to give him all of the work.

Which type of student would be selected first?

I think that a group of people will just try to find one really smart person in the class. So this way they can be with their friends and have a smart person in their group.

Why do you think they were selected first?

I think that the smart people were selected first because otherwise their would be people in groups who didn’t know how to do anything. For example; use photo shop that well.

Which types of students were selected last?

Well in my opinion I think that the more quiet and shy boys because they wouldn’t really want to talk much over the other loud people in the class

What beneficial characteristics can you offer to your group?

Well since the last project i have really gotten used to useing photo shop and i am alright at that.

List 3 things you would personally like to improve on in this project.

1. Getting all journal entries and individual tasks up-to-date.
2. Submitting all set work up on time.
3. Communicating better with my group members.
